Life is but a collection of dreams that you co-author with destiny
Moments woven into the fabrics of time with the intention and will you put into them. The more I grow, the more evident it becomes that the most important ingredient isn’t simply the most important ingredient, but can almost be the only one; and that is kindness.
This year on the playa I came face to face with the blessing of death. As Kali, the destroyer must exist to rebuild so does death set and keep the wheel of life in motion.
Death is often looked at as the destruction of body so it causes fear in our hearts. But death is also the destruction of ego liberating the spirit. As one traverses from this realm to the other we destroy the ego and liberate the spirit.
For those few that are enough inclined to free the spirit while here in body, I commend and tip my hat to you, for your pursuit is noble and enlightening.
May you always serve as beacons of light in our moments of darkness to remind us that the death of the ego is the birth of the spirit and that kindness, love and compassion are the pathway to the destruction of ego.
Thank you to all of my old friends, thank you to all of my new friends for being there during the intense moments on the playa this year. And of course special thank you to the love of my life Shannon Shiang. I feel that the complex worldly situations thrown in front of us this year will unravel themselves as the lessons that will help us pivot our lives.
